At some point in your life, you may well want to explore other countries. There is no right or wrong time to go travelling and just because you have a family, doesn’t mean that you still can’t go exploring, you just may have to do it in a different way. Many people chose to go travelling just after school or after a uni or college course before they settle down into a career.
If you are considering going backpacking through Europe then it is advised not to go alone. Go with at least one other person and ideally a group and make sure that someone is aware of your plans and where about you are staying at all times.
It is not cheap to go travelling and with the UK recently voting to leave the EU this price may well increase over the coming years. You will either need to save money to see you through or try and find work when you are out there.
